For generations we’ve worked hard to provide the very best products and service to primary producers, specialising in agricultural chemicals, fertiliser, seed, agronomy advice, animal health, rural merchandise, livestock and property sales.

McGregor Gourlay’s origins go all the way back to 1897, with the establishment of JA McGregor & Co Stock and Station agents in Warialda NSW. Over the decades JA McGregor & Co evolved to specialise in crop inputs, animal health and farm merchandise, establishing a second location in Croppa Creek NSW in the late 1970’s and becoming a trusted supply partner to farmers in the region.

In 1987 JA McGregor & Co partnered with a group of local cotton industry professionals to establish McGregor Gourlay Agricultural Services in Moree NSW. The business grew quickly and established a second branch in Goondiwindi QLD within a few years, and then in 1998 McGregor Gourlay & JA McGregor came together as one to become a single entity with 4 locations in Moree, Goondiwindi, Croppa Creek and Warialda.

Since then, the business has continued to expand to become one of the most dynamic privately owned rural services companies in Australia, employing over 170 staff in 17 branches located across North West NSW, the NSW Northern Rivers, and the Southern QLD Border Rivers and Darling Downs regions. McGregor Gourlay serves the townships and surrounding areas of Alstonville, Bellata, Bingara, Bundarra, Cecil Plains, Croppa Creek, Delungra, Dorrigo, Grafton, Goondiwindi, Inverell, Meandarra, Moree, Murwillumbah, Toowoomba and Warialda.

Today’s business offers a wide range of supply to our customers including agricultural chemicals, fertiliser, seed, animal health, rural merchandise, livestock, property, and water equipment. We service and specialise in a wide variety of winter and summer crops for broadacre, irrigated and tropical programs, with dedicated agronomy services to help you get the best out of your farming operation.
