Bingara Sporting Club

The Bingara Sporting Club is a licensed club open seven days a week offering wonderful sporting, entertainment and function facilities.

The picturesque 18-hole course and bowling green are immaculately maintained and is testament to the efforts of the team of volunteers who maintain the facilities.

The Club is also available for meetings, functions and parties and can assist with your catering needs upon request.

Opening hours:
Monday to Tuesday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Wednesday to Friday: 4:00pm – close
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00pm – close

Restaurant

The Chinese Restaurant boasts some of the best Australian/Chinese meals around and people from far and wide rave about the freshness and flavour. Eat in and take away options available.

Opening hours:
Lunch: Wednesday to Monday – 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Dinner: Wednesday to Monday – 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Sporting Facilities

The Bingara Sporting Club offers a wide range of sporting facilities that will suit anyone’s interests. Indoors is a 24-hour fitness centre and outdoors boasts an exquisite 9 hole golf course, 2 bowling greens and 4 clay and 4 synthetic tennis courts.

All outdoor facilities are available for use all day, every day. If the Club is not open simply place your green fees/ court hire in the honesty box at the gate to the golf course, with your name and sport written on the envelope.

Weekly Events

Bowls
Social bowls are played Wednesday to Saturday. 1:30pm in winter and at 6:00pm during daylight savings. A nominal competition fee is applicable.

Tennis
The Sporting Club has 4 clay and 4 synthetic tennis courts which have lighting available for night time use. Social tennis is played on Sunday at 2:00pm. Courts are for hire at any time and may be booked at the Club.

Golf
The Sporting Club has a nine hole, 18 tee golf course running alongside the Gwydir River.

The golf club has two golf carts for hire. Cart hire is through Vendi Golf Australia – vendicart.vendigolf.com.au/secure/customer/booking/v2/public/venues

Subscriptions

Member fees – payable each financial year:

• Full Sporting Member: $150 per annum
• Social Member: $10 per annum
• Junior Sporting Member: $10 per annum

Green fees – For non-sporting members and visitors for all sports $20 per day. Fees are payable at the Club house if open or placed in an envelope and placed in the honesty box at the gate to the golf course if the Club is closed.
